To meet out the enormous digital transformation, the current cellular networks, even the forthcoming 5-G cannot entirely match the rapidly rising technical requirements and these challenges could create a negative impact on digital technology applications of industries. To meet the coming challenges, the sixth generation (6-G) mobile network is expected to cast the high technical standard of the new spectrum and energy-efficient transmission techniques. The 6-G wireless network needs to be extended to modern random access and it could be possibly achieved via smart protocol design, advanced signal processing, and communications technologies. This special issue explores novel concepts and practices with a long-term goal of 6-G wireless personal communications and networks making a revolutionary change in rectifying the challenges of industrial digital technology. We invite authors from both industry and academia to submit original research and review articles that cover the physical-layer transmission techniques, network designs, security approaches, and testbed developments in 6th generation wireless technology- challenges and impact on industries. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Simulate/Design Sub THz RF for 6-G wireless technology
