Submission Instructions

Paper Submission Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full text papers (.doc, .rft, .ps, .pdf) will be accepted via OJS online submission system. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the JCM should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the style of the JCM and are subject to both review and editing.

Submitted papers are assumed to contain no proprietary material unprotected by patent or patent application; responsibility for technical content and for protection of proprietary material rests solely with the author(s) and their organizations and is not the responsibility of JCM or its Editorial Staff. The main author is responsible for ensuring that the article has been seen and approved by all the other authors. It is the responsibility of the author to obtain all necessary copyright release permissions for the use of any copyrighted materials in the manuscript prior to the submission.

Authors are requested to follow Template guidelines for preparing their manuscripts. An article sample template can be found here (MS Word).

For Articles published in JCM, copyright will be retained by the authors. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided that the article is properly cited, the use is non-commercial and no modifications or adaptations are made.

•  NonCommercial – You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
•  NoDerivatives – If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

Authors are asked to sign a warranty and copyright agreement upon acceptance of their manuscript, before the manuscript can be published. The Copyright Statement can be downloaded here (PDF Version).

Reproducing Published Material from Other Publishers

It is necessary to obtain copyright permission to reproduce any published material (figures, schemes, tables, or any extract of a text) which does not fall into the public domain, or for which they do not hold the copyright.

If your article makes use of any previously published material, then permission should be requested by the authors from the copyright holder, or the author or their employer (if the work is unpublished). Some publishers will also require that you seek the permission of the original author (you will need to check the terms of the publisher’s permission).

In order to avoid unnecessary delays in the publication process, you should start obtaining permissions as early as possible. The copyright holder may give you instructions on the form of acknowledgment to be followed; otherwise follow the style: "Reproduced with permission from [author], [book/journal title]; published by [publisher], [year]." at the end of the caption of the Table, Figure or Scheme.
