Abstract—The current communications applications are still evolving with the aim of improving the current standards of mobile networks. The challenge is to get well the spectral efficiency for a better transmission rate while presenting a robustness of the system to disturbances. In fact, the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the most important techniques in broadband communication systems. Decidedly, the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) represents the key and the relevant element in the definition of OFDM by ensuring the orthogonality of the carriers. Because of the requirements of intensive calculations, the FFT occupies large areas and consumes great energy when it is implemented in hardware. The most common trends to reduce power consumption in the area occupied and to allow high data rates in digital transmissions are considered to introduce the proposed approach in the design of an FFT processor that could be used. in a transmission chain based on the OFDM system Generally, this paper deals with the Fast Fourier Transform implementation task based on a new paradigm to build an effective core in a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) target technology.
